Florence + The Machine and Deftones join the Pukkelpop lineup!

After months of speculation, we were finally able to announce the arrival of Tyler, The Creator, SOMBR and Zara Larsson yesterday. What had been circulating for weeks in lists, crystal balls and strong gut feelings turned out to be spot on, and today two more strong hunches can be confirmed.

From its raw, baroque indie rock beginnings, Florence + The Machine evolved into a spellbinding universe where emotion and grandeur stand at the core. Across six albums, from the debut Lungs to the new drop Everybody Scream, Florence Welch emerged as one of the most defining voices of her generation. In 2023, her Pukkelpop headline show had to be cancelled at the very last minute, and the disappointment ran deep. By now, we all understand why. Pukkelpop holds Florence close to its heart. On Saturday 22 August, this will be a long awaited, heartwarming reunion. You’ve got the love!

Who would have thought that more than 30 years after their debut album Adrenaline, the words ‘Deftones’ and ‘influencers’ would ever appear in the same sentence. But hey, even alternative metal has its own algorithm in 2026. And that is exactly why Deftones are just as hot with a younger generation of Pukkelpoppers. Straight out of Sacramento and timeless for decades. Last summer, they released their tenth album private music. Album title and song names, all in lowercase. Just like Gen Z writing. A statement. That lowercase energy is about stepping away from rules, hierarchy, obligation. A perfect match for Deftones. The band members are now old enough to be dads, and yes even grandfathers, to part of the Pukkelpop crowd. Nobody cares. Music transcribes every generation. See you on Saturday 22 August.

Ticket sales start on Saturday 14 February at 10 a.m. A perfect day to seal your love for music with a kiss and a ticket.
