From DJing, to producing, promoting, labels, and management – there isn’t much that Australian born, London based Surusinghe isn’t involved in. Experimenting with bass, reggaeton, broken-beat and techno, Surusinghe keeps her mixes fast and unexpecting. Surusinghe’s releases to date have been put out by some of the most essential tastemakers in the game — AD 93, Steel City Dance Discs and TraTraTrax amongst others. She’s played b2b with a stellar cast of scene-leaders, from HAAi to Bitter Babe and Moktar. The whiplash momentum of her gig schedule has carried her across continents, from Nowadays in New York to Drumsheds in London, Unsound in Krakow to Boiler Room in Naarm. While her sound on this new EP is tooled for the peak time, it’s also subtle and supple enough to look beyond obvious ear candy tropes and delve a little deeper into what a dancefloor actually needs.
