Tyler, The Creator, SOMBR and Zara Larsson are playing at Pukkelpop this summer!

Punctuation doesn’t get much love these days. Except for one mark that just won’t let go. A stylish curl. A graceful little hook. Greek by origin, literally meaning part of something bigger. Dear Pukkelpoppers, say hello to the comma. Yes, as in: Tyler, The Creator
American rapper, producer, author, songwriter, fashionisto. His CHROMAKOPIA show last year at AFAS Dome Antwerp proved that some performances simply can’t be captured in star ratings or reviews. Tyler, The Creator operates in a universe entirely his own. With Golf Wang, for example, his streetwear label closely intertwined with Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, a festival he curates himself. Music. Art. Fashion. Everything collides into one unmistakable vision and… that single comma. Check his most recent album: DON’T TAP THE GLASS. All caps. Something the ancient Romans were way ahead of their time on. Everything in capital letters. Perfect for carving in stone. Perfect for SOMBR too, especially with that new spelling. And those 1.2 billion streams of back to friends. Other viral monster hits? undressed and 12 to 12. Write it down: SOMBR. Real name Shane Michael Boose, artist name built from his initials. Two meters tall, literally and figuratively a big deal. Next month, he hits Ancienne Belgique in Brussels. Tickets long gone, obviously, but hey, here’s another shot on Sunday, August 23!

Hooray for Y2K and pop perfection because Zara Larsson joins the Pukkelpop lineup. She scored global hits with Lush Life and Symphony, and recently picked up a Grammy nomination for Midnight Sun in the ‘Best Dance Pop Recording’ category. Thanks to the viral dolphin meme tied to Symphony and that iconic on stage moment with Dutch fan Julia Coster, things are moving extremely fast. The internet does its thing and Zara Larsson rides along with style, confidence and major momentum. It’s always summer when Zara is around. Especially at Pukkelpop.

Ticket sales start on Saturday, February 14 at 10 AM. A perfect day to celebrate your love for music.
