Djo plays Pukkelpop!


Is there a better date than Friday the 13th to announce a world famous star from a wildly popular sci fi horror series? Steve Harrington from Stranger Things, for example.Or rather, Djo. Damn right! 

Joe Keery, his real name, is a big fan of Belgium and the feeling is entirely mutual. His 2022 single End of Beginning shot back to number 1 on the global Spotify charts just weeks ago. That revival was anything but accidental. After the emotional finale of Stranger Things, fans dove headfirst into everything Keery. TikTok flooded with clips, edits and farewell videos, all carried by End of Beginning. The song slipped effortlessly into yet another life, and Djo’s popularity reached truly otherworldly heights.

And coincidence or perfect timing, today also marks the Belgian premiere of Cold Storage, his new film alongside Liam Neeson. Friday the 13th. Sometimes, everything just lines up. (K)eery, right? 

Djo takes the stage on Friday 21 August, sharing the line-up with YUNGBLUD, TURNSTILE, Major Lazer, Roxy Dekker, Geese, KI/KI and Adriatique. Confirmed for Saturday: Florence + The Machine, Deftones, New Wave, Underworld, Amyl and the Sniffers, Novah, Kettama, Dijon, Dom Dolla, Kölsch, Pegassi, Wet Leg and Wunderhorse. On Sunday: Tyler, The Creator, SOMBR, Zara Larsson, Parcels, Blood Orange, Pendulum DJ set, Bazart, Denzel Curry, Dimension and Purple Disco Machine.
