The Killers & Florence + The Machine are coming to Pukkelpop

Putting together a festival line-up is a bit like the technical trial in the TV show Bake Off UK. You know that you can cook but the jury decides what you will cook. For all you know you might find yourself preparing a croquembouche... But The Killers and Florence + The Machine are beyond debate: the perfect main dish with just the right ingredients to savour that final festival day, Sunday 20 August, in optimum circumstances.

THE KILLERS

Thursday 19 August 2004, Pukkelpop festival arena: the young guns in The Killers take the stage of the Club with supreme and visionary confidence. Their big hit Mr. Brightside comes so early in the set that some fans have to wolf down their fries with andalouse sauce in one hell of a hurry. Four years later, Thursday 14 August 2008: The Killers headline the Pukkelpop main stage. In retrospect that air of confidence was totally justified. Mr. Brightside has meanwhile earned the status of indestructible fan favourite and comes right before the encores. The capacity crowd goes apeshit. Fast-forward to Sunday 20 August 2023: The Killers headline their favourite stage, the Main Stage. It doesn’t take a clairvoyant to predict this one: a tsunami of hits performed by one of the best festival bands in the world.

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE

Musical nymph, pop fairy, the Queen of Bohemian Style: countless lyric descriptions have been devoted to Florence Welsh, blessed with an ethereal voice and the fascinating frontwoman of Florence + The Machine. The band offers an unrivalled live experience that nurtures the heart and soothes the soul. Welsh pours her own heart and soul into every performance and in return the adoring fans shower her with love. See you on Sunday 20 August, together with her impressive army of loyal fans. Pukkelpop XXX Florence. You’ve got the love.
