5 new names added to the line-up

The build-up of the festival site has started and meanwhile we’re putting the finishing touches to this year’s line-up.

On Sunday evening we’ll have you moshing and singing along with Stormzy’s phenomenal UK grime on the Main Stage.

The organisers are adding two more great names to the roster for Saturday 21 August. Paul Kalkbrenner will instantly satisfy everyone’s desire to cut loose: this Berliner house icon will close out the main stage on Saturday evening. Also on Saturday you can break the sound barrier with The Hives on what is their fifth appearance at Pukkelpop; their debut here in Kiewit dates back to 2001.

And finally we’re throwing two creative talents to the wolves: Rare Akuma on Friday and Antoon on Saturday, both in the Dance Hall.

Earlier we announced a string of top acts including Editors, Marshmello, Liam Gallagher, Anne-Marie and American hip hop phenomenon Future. Also confirmed: Balthazar, the long-awaited return of Netsky, turntable tag team 2manydjs, Charlotte de Witte, Burna Boy, Nina Kraviz, dEUS, Sam Fender, the single-minded post punk of Idles and the exhibition match of Whispering Sons. The final names for this edition will follow soon.

Needless to say, Pukkelpop 2021 will also be remembered as the edition of safety first, modalities and protocols. The organisers are preparing for August in close consultation with the competent authorities and we’re coming up on the final straight now.
