HOW TO GET THERE

How do I get to Pukkelpop? 

Pukkelpop is easy-to-reach so please don't worry about it in the first place. Everything is clearly indicated and in case of doubt ... just go with the flow - literally and figuratively ;-)

  • We strongly recommend you to travel by public transport which is included in the ticket price (train* & bus). *A free e-train ticket Pukkelpop is required.
  • sncb.be/pukkelpop 
  • You can reach Pukkelpop by train via Hasselt station or Kiewit station.

TRAIN

  • In the night of Sunday 21 Aug to Monday 22 Aug there are free night trains. Reservation is obligatory: sncb.be/pukkelpop 
  • Kiewit station: within walking distance of the festival site (500m).
  • Hasselt train station: free festival shuttles to the festival ground and camping grounds are available and are also included in your festival ticket. 
  • A Pukkelpop e-train ticket allows you free travel for free from any station in Belgium to Hasselt station or Kiewit station – and includes the return trip too. All info & download: sncb.be/pukkelpop 

FREE (NIGHT) BUSES (operated by De Lijn)

  • There are free festival shuttles between Hasselt station and the festival and camping grounds. 
  • There are night buses to as many as 37 municipalities at the end of each festival day (except on Thursday).

  • Are you coming from or do you need to go to Ostend - Bruges - Aalter - Aalst - Brussels - Leuven or Kortrijk - Waregem - Ghent - Lokeren - Sint-Niklaas - Antwerpen - Herentals

PARKING 

  • There is a sufficient number of parking spaces in the neighbourhood of the festival site. 
  • The Kempische Steenweg (the main road leading to Pukkelpop) will be closed to all motorised traffic during the festival days.

    • You can park your bike next to festival site, totally free of charge.
  • Yes, there is a sufficient number of parking spaces in the neighbourhood of the festival site. Payment at the parking lots is cashless (don't forget your bank card) and will be €8 per day / €11 - 2 days / €15 - 3 days / €20 - 4 days. No need to book in advance.

    The night buses depart in Kiewit from the following places:

    • For the night buses 16, 18a, 48, 52-58 and 180 you walk from the festival exit to the right (direction Zonhoven) until just past the church of Kiewit. The buses are parked on the west side of the church.
    • For the night buses 3, 4-39, 8, 20a, 21a, 45, 91, 299 and AL you have to walk 100 meters to the left (direction Hasselt) from the festival exit to the Europalaan. The buses are parked on the side of the Europalaan.

     

  • FESTIVAL SHUTTLES

    External festival shuttle: from the station to the festival grounds and campsites

    • If you arrive at Hasselt station by shuttle bus or train, you can take the free external festival shuttle to the festival grounds.
    • This shuttle runs in a loop from Hasselt station to Camping Relax, the festival site, Camping Chill and then back to Hasselt station.
    • If you are staying at Camping Comfy you can also take this shuttle. Camping Comfy is a two minute walk away from Camping Chill.
    • These external festival shuttles are free and run from Thursday 18 August to Saturday 20 August between 10:00 and 06:00. On Sunday 21 August they run between 10.00h and 04.30h, Monday between 08.00h and 15.30h
      • Attention : on Mondays there is an adapted bus service, the shuttles go directly from Camping Chill to Hasselt station.

    Internal festival shuttle: from Camping Relax (on Wheels) to the festival site and back.

    • The internal festival shuttles are driving back and forth between Camping Relax (on Wheels) and the festival grounds.
    • These shuttles are free of charge and run from Thursday 18 August to Sunday 21 August between 10:00 and 06:00. On Monday, August 22, they run between 08:00 and 15:30.
      • Attention : on Mondays there is an adapted bus service; the shuttles then run directly from Camping Relax to Hasselt station.
  • Your festival ticket entitles you to a FREE E-TRAIN TICKET. 

    Order your ticket on thetrain.be/pukkelpop using the SNCB code mentioned on your festival ticket. Attention: your festival ticket itself is not valid as a train ticket!

    The free e-train ticket is valid for 1 outward and 1 homeward journey in 2nd class (not HST) from your Belgian departure station to KIEWIT station in the period of 18-08-2022 until 22-08-2022 inclusive. 

    IMPORTANT!

    Go to thetrain.be/pukkelpop for:
    ●  downloading your free e-train ticket;
    ●  the terms of use and validity of the e-train ticket;
    ●  the timetables of the EXTRA TRAINS (outward journey / homeward journey);
    ●  all details about how to get to the camping sites and the festival site as a train passenger.


    EXTRA NIGHT TRAINS: in the night of Sunday 21/08 to Monday 22/08/2022, four extra night trains will ride from Kiewit station to Oostende, Roeselare, Aalst and Antwerpen-Centraal. Please mind! To board a night train, you need an additional FREE Pukkelpop Night Train ticket.
    This ticket is valid as a reservation.

    Festival visitors from abroad:

    • Travellers who have Brussels Airport - Zaventem as departure or destination station still have to pay the Diabolo fee. 
    • Festival visitors coming from other countries can combine their e-train ticket with a return ticket that is valid on the foreign railway networks until the Belgian border. As from there the e-train ticket is valid to Kiewit station.
    • When downloading your e-train ticket, mention the first Belgian station in question as departure station.

    The first stations in Belgium are:

    • from The Netherlands: Essen (via Roosendaal) and Visé (via Maastricht - Eijsden)
    • from Germany: Hergenrath
    • from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: Arlon, Athus and Gouvy
    • from France: Mouscron, Froyennes, Quiévrain, Quévy and Erquelinnes
