A state is a delineated area governed by a central authority. De Staat is the Netherlands’ most single-minded rock band that completely disregards boundaries, with their machine instruments and trance-inducing hits such as ‘Witch Doctor’ or ‘Kitty Kitty’. They’re bringing three new EPs to Kiewit: a fluffy yellow one, a raw red one and a melancholy blue one. That's what you call a ‘danceable emotional rollercoaster’.
