Charlotte de Witte
Charlotte de Witte once said in an interview that “the biggest challenge of my career was to get people to take me seriously”. Well, she certainly succeeded in doing just that because meanwhile her name rides high on posters from Ibiza to Singapore. Her KNTXT parties sell out. She was a resident DJ for radio station BBC1. In 2019 she won the award for best techno DJ at the prestigious DJ Awards and last year she made the top 25 of best DJs in the world thanks to a work ethic that's even more uncompromising than her pounding rave techno. For example, she released no fewer than five EPs over the past two years. Besides, you can hardly be taken any more seriously than getting the chance to headline Pukkelpop, right?
