Does It Offend You, Yeah? is an electronic rock band from Reading, England. They were the ninth most listened to new band on last.fm in 2008. The band is made up of four members: James Rushent (lead vocals, bass), Dan Coop (synths), Rob Bloomfield (drums) and Morgan Quaintance (guitar). Their album "You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into" was released on March 24th 2008 when Rolling Stone magazine named Does It Offend You, Yeah? as that month's "Breaking Artist" The band revealed the origins of their name as being from British sitcom The Office. When Dan Coop and James Rushent first started writing music together they decided to put it up on MySpace. They needed a name to put as their profile name so just put what was the first thing that was said on TV, they switched it on and Ricky Gervais said "Does it offend you, yeah?
