Biographie

Arctic Monkeys are an alternative rock band formed in Sheffield, England, United Kingdom in 2002 after meeting at Stocksbridge High School. The band consists of Alex Turner (vocals, guitar), Jamie 'Cookie' Cook (guitar), Nick O'Malley (bass) and Matt Helders (drums, vocals). Founding bassist Andy Nicholson left in 2006. Each of the band's first five singles I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor , When the Sun Goes Down , Leave Before the Lights Come On ...

I hate to say it Arctic's cause I have bought every one of your releases thusfar, both Cd and Vinyl, every Ep, the lot. But ye were really poor at Pukkelpop, the attitude stank, no respect for the crowd or the Festival. You did know that you were closing out the Festival? You behaved like a bunch of kids who were way too cool for school, especially you Turner. Helders was the only one that looked remotely into it. The only disappointment of a great weekend.
