101 exactly! That is the number of acts that have already agreed to play at Pukkelpop on 19th, 20th and 21st August. You already know the names of some of these bands. Today we are adding another truckload.
After a number of magnificent albums Eels is coming back to Pukkelpop. Bloc Party frontman Kele will present his brand new and highly danceable solo project. Dancing to the tunes of Groove Armada, Laurent Garnier, Bloody Beetroots DJ set, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke and Chase & Status live will be compulsory too.
Acts such as Seasick Steve, Serj Tankian, All Time Low, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Gogol Bordello, Band of Horses, Danko Jones, The Toy Dolls, The Cribs, The National and Blood Red Shoes guarantee musical fireworks that will start you rocking and rolling.
Tomorrow’s stars such as The xx, Foals, Yeasayer, The Drums and Local Natives all deserve a place at Pukkelpop.
To this already impressive list you may add: Fat Freddy’s Drop, Fuck Buttons, You Me At Six, Caribou, 3OH!3, And So I Watch You From Afar, Girls, Jamaica, Against Me!, Everything Everything, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Nosaj Thing, The Soft Pack, Pulled Apart By Horses and The Tallest Man on Earth. With these names nothing can stop the 2010 festival from becoming a success.
The presence of Iron Maiden, Queens Of The Stone Age, Placebo, 2manydjs, The Prodigy, Blink-182, Boys Noize and many others has already been announced.
