Pukkelpop 2010
At Kiewit a few marks left by tents on the grass of the Pukkelpop fields are the only reminder of three days of great festival fun. No more fences or chip stalls to be seen, no more Pukkelpop flags. They have earned a well-deserved rest. The Kiewit grass can quietly recover and get itself ready for the 25th Pukkelpop edition!

Surprise Act
Observant visitors to our website must have noticed that there's a rather large gap in the Marquee timetable between Wilco and Beirut on Thursday. To make the already impressive line-up even more spectacular, Pukkelpop has a surprise act in store. Do not expect any hints, tips or clues from us. We can only promise that you will be astounded by our 100% surprise act.
The secret will be revealed at the Marquee on Thursday 20th August. -
Pukkelpop timetable online
Dear boys and girls, it’s time to plan your merciless musical Pukkelpop circuit. From today on, you can consult the Pukkelpop timetable on our site. View the survey carefully and indicate when your favourite artists play on one of our
eight stages. Add them to your profile and don’t forget to check out every single act.
Let the preparations begin! -
Programme changes
When looking over the Pukkelpop programme, you will notice some programme
changes. Since the Dananananaykroyd drummer broke his arm when falling off
the stage, the band have had to cancel all their shows for the coming weeks. Tom Barman and CJ Bollard have not been able to put together their Magnus DJ-set with live elements, so they have decided to cancel all their summer sets.
Unfortunately, the show of punk veterans Face to Face has also been cancelled.
They have called off their entire European summer tour.
Das Pop has been moved from Thursday to Friday and will open on the Main Stage.
Yuko will play at Wablief instead of at the Club. -

Placebo and lots of other “pretty things”
One more headliner for Pukkelpop 2009: Placebo. On June 8th the band, fronted by Brian Molko, will release their brand new studio album ‘Battle for the Sun’, the result of three months of blood, sweat and tears with star producer Dave Bottrill, who has worked with Tool, Muse and Belguim’s own dEUS. You will have already heard their latest single ‘For what It’s Worth’ all over the radio; the remaining songs from the album will undoubtedly make the Pukkelpop speakers tremble when they headline on Friday August 21st.
Pukkelpop’s darlings, Eagles of Death Metal, will also play at the festival. MSTRKRFT and Luciano presents AEther will enrich the already impressive dance line-up. Ladyhawke, DeVotchKa, Brakes, The Rifles, Gang Gang Dance, Bill Callahan, Ghinzu and The Black Angels will also pay a visit to the Kiewit fields.
On the Pukkelpop stages there has also been room for bright young talent. This year we welcome the rising pop star La Roux, shoegazers The Big Pink, NME favourites The Gay Blades and indie pop sensation The Virgins.
Rival Schools, Hayseed Dixie, Thursday, Future of the Left, Zebrahead and The Living End will try to rock the Shelter. A long list of fine names that will make your mouths water, and there’s more to come
