Fair is in the air! For the first time Pukkelpop and Oxfam Fairtrade join forces and become partners in promoting fair trade.

Oxfam Fairtrade is a wholesale business for fair-trade food products. Oxfam Fairtrade buys products from small or medium-sized organized producers groups in the South and pays them a fair price. This price is usually higher than the current market price and guarantees the producers a worthy income, while respecting man and the environment.

As a result of their cooperation with Oxfam Fairtrade, the local producers can invest in sustainable agricultural techniques, product development, training and education, health care, housing and infrastructure.

The wide range of the Oxfam Fairtrade products can be found in the local Oxfam world shops and in a growing number of supermarkets. More and more schools, hospitals, government departments, private businesses, hotels, restaurants and brasseries are also finding their way to the Oxfam Fairtrade products.

The Pukkelpop catering service and the backstage artist service will use Oxfam Fairtrade products. Campers can also buy Oxfam Fairtrade products at the campsite festival shop.
