We are feeling a bit nostalgic today. Why? you might ask. Well, Faith No More have confirmed their reunion show at Pukkelpop 2009.

Exactly 11 years ago (give or take a few days), on 19th April 1998, Faith No More decided to put an end to their successful career. For months the rock world was rife with feelings of sadness and grief since the band had shaped the sound of a generation for 10 years. They had refused to follow the well-trodden path and had given metal a more colourful and dynamic image by introducing influences from hip hop, jazz and pop into the genre. ‘Epic’, ‘We care a lot’, ‘Midlife crisis’ and ‘Easy’ (a cover of the Commodores) have become legendary hits, largely due to the talent of top singer Mike Patton. Faith No More made their Belgian festival debut at Pukkelpop 1990 and played at Torhout/Werchter in 1993. In the course of the years that followed Mike Patton regularly paid our festival a visit in the company of Mr Bungle or Rahzel.
