Besides the second-to-last score in a judo match, Yuko is also the promising band fronted by singer/songwriter and guitarist Kristof Deneijs. Hailing from Ghent and Brussels, this fivesome has just finished a second album this year, ‘As If We Were Dancing’. Like their widely acclaimed debut, ‘For Times When Ears Are Sore’, their latest dreamily melodious tunes are unpredictable, sensational and amazingly danceable. Just before the international release, the band will be presenting their new album at Pukkelpop, accompanied by drummer Karen Willems (Zita Swoon Group).
