Line-up

Biography

The Jeff Tweedy’s name is inextricably linked with Wilco. Tweedy had already gained some fame with the late band Uncle Tupelo, whose spirit continues to haunt the first Wilco records. Since the release of ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’ and ‘A Ghost Is Born’, their alternative country music has been subjected to various experiments. Wilco has truly become ‘larger than life’. Throughout the years the band’s line-up has continually changed, with only Tweedy himself and bassist John Stirratt remaining from the early years remain. Tweedy has always surrounded himself with great musicians and together they have created nothing but masterpieces. This also applies to their eighth album, ‘The Whole Love’, which appeared late last year. If you add an impeccable live reputation to all this, you will immediately understand why Wilco is called one of the most exciting rock acts.
