Biography

The Jesus Lizard is an American band considered part of the noise rock , post-hardcore , and alternative rock genres. Formed in 1987 in Austin, Texas, and based in Chicago, Illinois from 1989 to 1999, the band took their name from a common nickname for the basilisk, a type of lizard that can run on water. The members of the band were/are: Duane Denison (guitars), David Yow (vocals), David Wm. Sims (bass) and Mac McNeilly (drums).

    Inderdaad Eppo, dit wordt eentje om naar uit te kijken! Zag ze in '94 ook al op Pukkelpop. Hopelijk even energiek al toen, want in dat geval wordt het één van de splinterbommen die Pukkelpop 2009 niet snel zal vergeten. Neem alvast uw voorzorgsmaatregelen!

    Wie kijkt hier niet naar uit? Zolang David Yow de twee vorige Pukkelpop shwos herhaalt en zijn kleren aanhoudt is alles goed voor mij!
