Biography

Superheroes were a Danish band playing synth-based indie pop. Formed in Skive, Denmark in 1996 by Thomas Troelsen and Asger Tarpgaard, the band consisted of Thomas Troelsen (vocals and synthesizers), Thomas Christensen (drums), Tanja Simonsen (keyboard and backing vocals), Lars Hovendahl (bass), Bjarke Staun (guitar and synthesizers) and Asger Tarpgaard (guitar). They officially split up in October 2006. In 1997 they released a demo known as "The Blue One". There are only 500 copies of this demo and it is therefore very rare. In 1998 they released their debut album called Dancing Casanova, followed up by Igloo in 2000 and Superheroes in 2002.
