Soapstarter's new album, inspired by a pastis fuelled vacation in the Provence, covers a diverse range of styles throughout whilst maintaining an overall fluent unity. Its message is loud and clear and apparent in each track “summer is here”. These guys are as fresh as a newborn babies nappy! With their sticky blend of analog synths, acoustic guitars, chunky beats, bird tweetingly sweet melodies and a firm tongue in cheek, they are sure to reduce you to a heap of giggling matter. These devilishly dashing doughboys are seriously groovy, groovy with a capital Bill Cosby.
