Biography
OK. So you don't know nothing' about the real and uncensored Petersonic story? Here's the bottom line: Petersonic is just one guy – Peter Baert. Down in the beatin' heart of Brussels, you'll find Peter spending his days and nights making music and caring for his little girl Lola. Being the son of a church organist, Petersonic went pretty crazy about organs (and music too) very early on. His dad's Juno60 synthesizer was soon employed at filling a whole garage with kick-ass rhythms, fucked up scores and imaginary soundtracks. And that was just when he was four... Years later Peter started cutting up drum-loops into tiny fragments. In doing so he elevated individual sounds from tool to instruments. But Petersonic really took flight when he discovered the delights of a pc and audio multi-tracking. He constructed whole new worlds of sound using a mash-up of real-life instruments. This music can be best described as cinematic soundscapes with a twisted edge. His first statement on his own nisan label and lowlands distribution is a straight-up nasty album bursting with beats, blips, and bass tunes to twist your head around. Written, produced and mixed by Petersonic. Mastered by that other soundslasher Eavesdropper. So sit back... relax... and allow your aural cavities to be filled with Petersonic.
