OK. So you don't know nothing' about the real and uncensored Petersonic story? Here's the bottom line: Petersonic is just one guy – Peter Baert. Down in the beatin' heart of Brussels, you'll find Peter spending his days and nights making music and caring for his little girl Lola. Being the son of a church organist, Petersonic went pretty crazy about organs (and music too) very early on. His dad's Juno60 synthesizer was soon employed at filling a whole garage with kick-ass rhythms, fucked up scores and imaginary soundtracks. And that was just when he was four... Years later Peter started cutting up drum-loops into tiny fragments. In doing so he elevated individual sounds from tool to instruments. But Petersonic really took flight when he discovered the delights of a pc and audio multi-tracking. He constructed whole new worlds of sound using a mash-up of real-life instruments. This music can be best described as cinematic soundscapes with a twisted edge. His first statement on his own nisan label and lowlands distribution is a straight-up nasty album bursting with beats, blips, and bass tunes to twist your head around.
