Biography

Netsky is not only a computer virus, it is also a DJ/producer from Edegem who has spread rapidly and nestled himself deep within the drum ‘n’ bass scene. Boris Daenen’s productions are very much sought after by labels like Liq-Weed Ganja, Spearhead, Grid and Radar. But it is Hospital Records that snatched up the main prize and released Netsky’s first, untitled album in 2010. His productions, which merge uplifting, melancholy melodies with vigorous dance-floor beats & bass have won him no fewer than 4 prizes at the Drum&Bass Awards 2011. He often surfaces in the DJ-sets of Grooverider, High Contrast, Annie Mac, Zane Lowe and Ashley Beedle. His version of Miike Snow's 'Black & Blue' put him on the same level as other dance greats like Tiga and Caspa. As a DJ he is wanted all over the world. Fortunately he has been able to find a gap in his calendar for a show in his homeland.
