Biography
Almost 20 years after its release the album ‘Loveless’ (1991) is still considered one of the most beautiful and heartrending records ever made. The swan song of My Bloody Valentine, the magnum opus in which Kevin Shields opened his soul has recently been remastered by Shields himself. The record is a milestone in the history of noise pop, on which the guitars sound like jet engines, noise is artistically redefined and the fragility of crystal is married to apathic shoegaze. Remastering the record inspired My Bloody Valentine to take up touring again. Get ready for a devastating, supersonic live set in which the most beautiful melodies hide behind a wall of distortion, reverb and flanging.

Jeugdnostalgie! Eindelijk de kans om ze eens live te zien! En inderdaad: oordoppen zullen nodig zijn, 100 dB of niet. Eén van de acts op Pukkelpop om heel erg naar uit te kijken!!!

flanger ? kevin shields = voornamelijk bekend om het doorgedreven experimenteren
met tremelo armen van jazzmasters/jaguars in combinatie met warme gesatureerde
texturen ... mjam mjam ... live echter is het geluid v loveless, geconcipieerd in de studio, moeilijk
tot 'bekan eelemaal nie' te evenaren ... chk et materiaal, ho ho ho !
