Biography
After the gentlemen of Life of Agony (LOA) (from NYC) hung up their boots (and their guitars as well) in 1999, singer and face puller Keith Caputo played solo for a while. And then, totally unexpected, the live DVD ‘The River Runs Again’ appeared in 2003, the prelude to LOA’s comeback record ‘Broken Valley’ in 2005. LOA is a band that never repeats itself and travels new roads on every record: melancholic hardcore on ‘River Runs Red’, eerie directness on ‘Ugly’ and a mature sound on their newest born. Supported by the sharp-as-a-razor riffs of Joey Z, LOA will give you the goose pimple moments every music lover is looking for. Their figurehead, Caputo, is one of the most remarkable vocalists in the top division: emotional, poignant and full of Weltschmerz.
