Flying Lotus or just FlyLo is the artist name of producer and button-handyman Steven Ellison. His debut album, ‘1983’, earned him a contract with the renowned Warp Label, where he released his second album, ‘Los Angeles’, in 2008. In 2010 he proved his inexhaustible creativity with ‘Cosmogramma’, a masterpiece that merged all his influences into a new futuristic blend. FlyLo mixes the jazz legacy of his great-uncle John and aunt Alice Coltrane with experimental electro beats and West Coast hip hop. His fourth album, ‘Until the Quiet Comes’, will crackle through our speakers as from June. Danger, high voltage!
