Biography

Diablo Blvd, named after a song by Corrosion of Conformity, was formed in 2005 when five blokes from Antwerp, who all had several years of experience in the music world, felt like doing something completely new. Tim Bekaert (A Brand) and Andries Beckers (Born From Pain, the Setup,..) were both looking for new challenges. Together with comedian Alex Agnew, Dave Hubrechts and Kris Martens they threw all their musical aspirations into a melting pot and formed a new band, Diablo Blvd. In late April they released their new album, ‘Builders of Empires’ which, like their debut, ‘The Greater God’ (2009), was produced by Ace Zec (Customs, The Setup). Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Grand Magus) was responsible for the mixing. Biablo Blvd may make you think of Danzig, The Cult ... but do not think too much and let your own defenseless self be blown away by the charisma and energy of the hard-rocking storm troopers of Diablo Blvd.
