Biography

Since their debut record, ‘Adrenalin’ (1995), Deftones, hailing from the Golden State, have resolutely opted for adventure. And till now they have never bored us for a second. The balanced sound, the intense vocal melodies of Chino Moreno, the occasionally cutting guitar riffs and pounding rhythm section make it extremely hard to typify their music. One thing is certain: this band rocks like hell! Once they’ve warmed up, Deftones become the musical equivalent of a Rottweiler frothing at the mouth, ready to fly at your throat at any moment.
