History Customs

Biography

If the girls on film by Duran Duran were boys, they would be called Customs (°2008). If The House of Love were to play in a higher gear, they would be called Customs. Imagine The Human League with aggressive guitars instead of synths: Customs. Customs’ pop songs are steeped in melodies and tight rhythms. They wear trench coats calling up mysterious atmospheres. Uninvited guests move into a room that is not even vacant. Early in 2009, the foursome from Leuven, always clad in stylish suits, brought out their highly acclaimed debut album, 'Enter The Characters', featuring a series of hits like 'Rex', 'Justine' and 'Shut Up, Narcissus’. The band is currently putting together their second album, which may be expected in the autumn. So it is not inconceivable that Customs will test some of their news songs in front of the Pukkelpop audience.
