Biography

The Milanese fidget-house duo Phra (Andrea Fratangelo) and Bot (Francesco Barbaglia) aka Crookers was at Pukkelpop for the first time in 2008, the same year they produced thumping remixes for Timbaland, Moby, and Snoop Dog. Their collaboration with Kid Cudi yielded the irresistible electro smasher 'Day N Nite' (2009), a track etched in our collective party memory. In 2010 they raided their impressive address book (at least thirty guest voices!) to produce their first album, "Tons of Friends. At the end of 2010 Interscope Records (50 Cent, The Black Eyed Peas, Queens of the Stone Age, U2) took the duo under its wing. At I Love Techno 2010 they celebrated this with a genuine Italian party. Next appointment: Thursday, August 18th at Pukkelpop. Stupendo!

crookers is helemaal niet zo standaard, ze speelden ook madness enzo dus ze zorgen zeker voor afwisseling. en ze zijn gewoon chill

boiler room is teleurstellend en helemaal niet innovatief zoals ik verwacht op pukkelpop. De line up wordt gedomineerd door die platte boys noize/crookers electro waar ik ondertussen mijn buik vol van heb. weet nu al dat ik "bonkers" in elke set zal horen.. waarom niet meer dj's die vernieuwing brengen in het genre zoals bv lucianio en kalkbrenner. andere suggesties: gui borrato, aril brikha, einmusik, jesper dahlback, sebastien leger

Haha, alle commerciële zakken die crookers willen zien omdat dat crookers zijn (en niet weten dat die niet live spelen) zullen daar te vinden zijn. Ik ga wel naar de boiler.
