Cosy Mozzy is a respected DJ from Brussels, Belgium. He is the man with the plan behind the hip electro-club in Mirano called "Dirty Dancing". Currently has 3 CD compilations: - "Dirty Dancing Collection 01" (EMI Belgique) - "Electro chic" (BMG) - "Histoire d'Amour" (released on Dirty Dancing label). Dj Cosy Mozzy biography(EN) Dj Cosy Mozzy (Three Imaginary Boys, Dirty Dancing Recordings, BMG, Labels, Brussels) Cosy Mozzy has been spinning records ever since he was a little boy and is truly a music fanatic in the broadest sense of the term. He first arrived on the public scene as a Movida resident and moved on to head the Blow-Up Club, both behind the decks and as artistic director. In 2002, his reputation expanded beyond Brussels and he started playing hot gigs like 10 Days Off, Dour Festival, Culture Club... In 2003, his career truly exploded and he became one of Belgium’s most wanted DJ’s. That same year, he signed up to become the artistic director of Dirty Dancing, the new eclectic concept aimed at re-launching the Mirano Continental club. He turned it into a huge success. 2004 will be marked by the release of numerous compilations on both BMG and Labels/Virgin. But that’s not all: as a producer, Cosy Mozzy now makes his own music with the guys from Sweatshop, under the name of "Three Imaginary Boys". He is also making a name for himself abroad, and has been playing at more & more international dj gigs (France, Ireland, Croatia, Berlin, Grece, Holland…). Cosy Mozzy has his own radio show on a national radio station [Pure Fm] every saturday [20h – 00h]. Till October 2004, Cosy Mozzy became also art director of a brand new music label “Dirty Dancing Recordings” who works with some of great producers like Kiki, Sweatshop, Kaos & himself. Biographie Dj Cosy Mozzy (FR) Dj Cosy Mozzy (Three Imaginary Boys, Dirty Dancing RRecordings, BMG, Labels, Brussels) Dj depuis son plus jeune age et passionné de musique au sens large du terme, Cosy Mozzy fait ses débuts en public aux soirées Movida puis au Blow-Up Club dont il fut légalement le directeur artistique. En 2002, sa réputation s'exporte en dehors de Bruxelles et il commence à tourner dans des endroits comme 10 Days Off, Dour Festival, Culture Club... En 2003, sa carrière explose et il devient un des deejays les plus demandés en Belgique. Cette même année, il devient directeur artistique du Dirty Dancing, nouveau concept éclectique visant à relancer le Mirano Continental. C'est un succès. L'année 2004 sera marquée par la sortie de plusieurs compilations sur les labels BMG et Labels/Virgin mais aussi par la production: En effet, Cosy Mozzy signe désormais ses propres productions musicales avec les membres du groupe Sweatshop (Eskimo Rec & Dirty Dancing Rec) sous le noms "Three Imaginary Boys". Aujourd'hui, il est demandé également à l'étranger, à Paris, entre autre où il assure une résidence mensuelle au Triptyque, mais aussi à Berlin, Dublin, Athène, Amsterdam, Reykjavik.... Depuis Octobre 2004, il a lancé un label de disque appelé « Dirty Dancing Recordings » dont les 4 premières sorties se sont directement retrouvées dans les charts de quelques éminents dj’s….
