Biography

Have you ever tried luring an Italian to Belgium in the heat of the summer? Luckily, Benny Benassi (he’s called Marco Benassi by his neighbours in Northern Italy) is not hard to convince. The huge success of 'Satisfaction' in 2003 gained Benassi international recognition as a DJ and house/electroclash musician. Later he won a Grammy for his remix of Public Enemy's ‘Bring the Noise’. Meanwhile Benassi has founded his own label, Pump-Kin Music, with which he intends to give talented young producers a chance. Whether he’ll be able to keep eighth place in the top ten of ‘The DJ List ‘ of most popular DJs may depend on his performance at Pukkelpop. There’s no need to restrain yourselves. Bring the noise.
