Biography

Andy C (Andrew Clarke) was a pioneer in drum 'n’ bass in the early 90s when it was still conveniently called hardcore techno. For the past ten years has been the best drum 'n’ bass DJ in the world. His extremely fast, razor-sharp skills are his trademark: preferably three turntables simultaneously. On his own label, Ram Records, he proves that he is not only a highly talented DJ and producer, but also has a nose for talent. In spite of all this praise, Andy C has always succeeded in keeping a low profile, roaming about anonymously in the hectic drum 'n’ bass playground. His Master of Ceremonies at Pukkelpop, the charismatic GQ, has already done his homework: "It's all about reading the crowd, and adapting your style."
